Why are Ny subways more dirtier than NJ subways?

There are more people crammed into the five boroughs so the sandwich shops are going to be more difficult to maintain with such a constant influx of customers.

NJ subways get crammed too.
They are still clean.

They'll be even Cleaner by 2020 , all PATH and PATCO stations will be upgraded and the system itself will be upgraded....

NJ subways except path and maybe hudson county lightrail don't run 24/7. There is a few hours they just sit, so maybe in that time there is a walk through when the driver looks for trash, like the buses.

Some of the subway "cleaners" don't do their jobs. I know since i seen this one guy on the 168 station in Washington Heights who just stands there when he is suppose to clean the C train. Or he does a ****ty mop job and does not pick up any trash.
