Why did you pick that motel if you don't know the area?
It doesn't have the greatest reviews from a quick google search.

the Pelham Gardens Motel
is in a much better area and i felt totally uh, "safe" in there too!!

I was concerned about Pelham Gardens
about it when i first was there but it's very clean and there are security cameras all over (except inside the rooms which is always nice!!). you got the PB Diner next door it's no comparison to the W Farms area
