Is there a bus that runs from Miami to NYC? I looked on the internetz but I can't seem to find a bus that does. It runs to Jacksonville but I'm not trying to go to that dump of a city (sorry people of Jacksonville but you're city sucks). I'm trying to get to the less crappier and more plastic and much sexier city of Miami, by bus. More than likely I'll take a plane but I rather not go through all that crazy TSA mess and take a bus if I can, even if it does take a day and a few hours. I love traveling by land, you get to see more.

So if anyone can fill me in, then I would really appreciate it!

La Cubana, Bus Lines = The bus station is in Washington Heights 175 Broadway (safe area). I live near the station.

This company goes from NYC to Miami. If you end up using this bus company, i would appreciate some bikini pics as compensation for my work.

I'm sure the train would be faster.

Amtrak

Surprisingly, there's not that much difference in time for either, a little over a day.
And surprisingly, not much difference in price either (Greyhound vs. Amtrac.)
Sitting in a bus for more than 24 hours seems impossible to me. Sitting ANYWHERE for that time almost as incomprehensible. What vacation could be worth the torment?

Lital,

Greyhound lists the trip but I think it might involve changing to another line somewhere along the way:

Looking out the window can be somewhat fun. There's a couple of stops to stretch your legs and eat. The cubana is direct to Miami with several stops. Amtrak sounds fun though.

By the ways, I live in orlando and Jacksonville is almost quite the best city in FL becuz it looks like NY buildings,.. I love Jacksonville better than miami... Yes there is a Greyhound bus that goes all around the U.S. Canada and Mexico that will go from miami to NYC or to Miami from NYC ... Here's the Website: Greyhound.com ! there is
also Megabus but rather take greyhound.

You can fly to Ft. Lauderdale for $200 and Miami for only a little more. That's significantly cheaper than the bus?

Not sure why people like to hate on Jacksonville. I personally think it has a lot of potential, at least the most of any of the Florida cities. It has an urban downtown, just got to convince people from the periphery to move and work downtown instead of some suburban complex. Some public transportation could help.
