I did the Staten Island ferry ride late at night. That was fun. I'm traveling to NYC next week by myself, so this thread is helpful. Although I am going to be drinking.
Don't forget that the Apple store is open 24 hours. Go in and play with a Mac for a few hours.

There's a newer Bowlmor at 222 W 44th Street that I like because when I go it has never been crowded. Also in Manhattan there is the Bowlmor in Union Square on University, the place in Port Authority, and there is a pretty new Lucky Strikes on 42nd street and 12th. There is Chelsea Piers but the last time I was there I found it expensive.
I tend to bowl in Brooklyn more frequently, either at Brooklyn Bowl (61 Wythe) or Gutter Bowl (200 North 14th).
If it's a hard decision, I recommend a NAP between 9 and 10.
