Problems finding schools in NYC and help 4 my autistic son (New York: private school, places)

He has an I.E.P & I have been touring schools, writing the chancellor, calling places for months now and everything is so booked !! I'm so tired of advocating and not geting no good response!! Thinking about suing the board so I can put him in a private school for autistic kids in NYC ? Any advice?

It's really shameful how difficult it can be in NYC to get help for kids who need it. My son has some issues, not at all as severe, but it really seems that the school system does as much as possible not to provide any extra assistance. You probably already know this organization:

Advocates for Children of New York

If you can't get any help inside the system, perhaps you should sue to send him to a private school.
