But who brought about the change in NYC ?? Was it the NYPD who spearheaded the movement towards more stringent, more restrictive laws in order to de-arm the populace ??

How were they able to win, whoever spearheaded this ?? What is keeping other cities from being like NYC in terms of firearm laws ?? What other cities are like NYC in that regard ??
check out the sullivan act, most cities have permit systems in place. some allow more priveledges and some less.

The police enforce laws, they don't make them. If people don't learn to place the blame for these unconstitutional laws exactly where it belongs, we'll just keep losing.

And of course he was denied.

Hopefully he takes his challenge as far as it can go because NYC absolutely ignores the 2nd Amendment. Even considering that reasonable restrictions have been deemed Constitutional, NYC's system is still blatantly against the law of the land.

The police are to blame. They don't make laws but they enforce them. Making a law means nothing if it isn't enforced. So police are directly responsible for your rights to self defense and freedom being violated, because cops harrass, terrorize, assault, torture, rape and murder those that do nothing to them all in the name of enforcing the law. Cops are nothing more than organized thugs with badges and radios.
