Goodmorning,

I have an question about the transportation from NY Newark airport to the Roosevelt Hotel in New York city. Do I have to take a cab, shuttle or subway?

Please advise me, many thanks in advanced!

First, Newark is in NJ. You can take a taxi, its 30min-1hr+ ride depending on traffic. Taxi fare isn't cheap though. Unless you have tons if luggage, I dont think it's neccesary.

I'd take the north jersey coast line from the airport to Hoboken, and then take the path train to 33rd St from there. You should manage to get to the hotel from there by cab. This is probably the most affordable way anyway.

You can take a bus from Newark Airport to south side of Grand Central Station in Manhattan. The Roosevelt Hotel is located near the north side of Grand Central Station.

Here's a link to the Newark bus, fare is currently $15: Olympia Trails | Newark Airport Express. That's probably the easiest and least expensive means of getting to Manhattan, since the trains can be faster, but you have to transfer, etc.
