To the OP, sorry but it's a crap area. But you don't have to believe us. Go there at about 10 PM on a Friday night and see if you would feel comfortable walking there, kinda like if u were coming home from a night out on the town.
I can't think of any place in Manhattan that is worse. It may be as bad, but parts of E. Harlem are as bad as you can find in Manhattan.

Well as far as East Harlem goes I dont think there's really a worst part. I think the worst parts are all equal in terms of crime, quality of life, etc. But the worst parts are pretty high on the scale. Agree?

Agree. I also think the absolute worst of Manhattan is probably found in an East Harlem project.

I think the worst part is Lexington around 121st-124th. Always something going on between those few blocks. Driving thru there has been many times I see people getting arrested. One Saturday afternoon I decide to take a walk over there and I hear gunshots.
I also think summerbabe should go back to kentucky.

I agree with those LEX blocks as pretty awful, but seriously, 106th and First is nothing to get upset about. It's East harlem but it doesn't scare me a bit and I'm a big white p u s s y.
