Has anyone commuted from Brooklyn (bh, cobble hill area) to southern ct? We are considering a move to Brooklyn and my husband would temporarily have to commute from brooklyn to stamford. We can figure out the commute via public transport ourselves but are wondering if anyone can advise about traffic patterns in order to drive.

The route would basically be thru queens (278 e to 495 e to 678 n to the hutch to 95. He would leave by 6:30 or 7am, and leave the office around 6:30pm.

Any advice would be great! We are just debating whether this is completely ill advised or not.
