con ed or national grid depending on your area..con ed has a bigger area then national grid

From my experience, it doesn't matter much which provider you choose. The "deregulation game" is just a joke resulting in the massive hikes we have recently seen.
It is to give the ILLUSION of competition.

In any case Con-Ed will provide delivery and charge IN-appropriately for the service so you might as well stick with them...less complicated for the same horrible result.

coned and national grid both suck but i'd say coned is lesser of two evils.
