Guys, feel free to add more comments that you believe can help kfink. I'd appreciate it and I'm sure kfink would too. I'd love to hear some more feelings toward this move, and some additional techniques for acquiring a job in the fascinating financial district of NYC.

Regards,
Schmitty

Who are you? You have two posts on city-data and they are both to support "kflink"?

People in this thread have offered useful advise. Some might be critical of the move, but it takes a certain person to make it here. So if you can't take the criticism from an anonymous message board, you should toughen up.

For techniques to get a job, you - ahem, I mean, kflink.... can check out the employment/jobs section of city-data. For finance/banking jobs I also recommend the Vault guide for interviewing.

Thanks for your comment of "Remember, you're taking advise from complete strangers. Tips to find a wall street job?? apply to them, ace the interview and follow through." It seems like you have everything figured out. Except how to spell the word 'advice.'

However, let's put Mr. Klato's grammatical issues aside, and get back on topic. We're here to help kfink. Let's continue to do so.

Thank you,
Schmitty
So why don't you give him some tips!! LoughtoN aka Kfink

It is my friend being funny. Sorry. That is why I ignored him the first time. I do appreciate the advice everyone. This Vault Guide does look helpful too. I found a link here for anyone else that might be looking back on this thread in the future.http://www.vault.com/wps/portal/usa/...il?item_no=615
