- Terra Blues is more blues based (same difference improv is improv), but if you can, catch Michael Powers Frequency. seems like they play there every other day, but they are "electric" no pun intended

for "that" type of jazz, but why bother with the expensive cover when you go downtown and hear someone like Marcus Strickland for a much more reasonable price.
I think I've decided on Zinc. Joey Morant is playing the night I'm looking at, and he sounds pretty good. Any idea if this place is usually packed? I'm going to try to make the 9:00 set.
It shouldn't be too crowded, but get there early just in case.
