Too subjective. You're going to get a bunch of different highly personal opinions. With all due respect, when referring to a city as big as New York, this is a pointless question.
SOUTH EAST ANNADALE, TODT HILL, EMERSON HILL, HUGUENOT, PRINCES BAY, TOTTENVILLE, PLEASANT PLAINS, DONGAN HILLS COLONY, The Hill Rock area, Eltingville, RICHMONTOWN, LIGHTHOUSE HILL, Latourette Park, and many others, and many more, all in Staten Island.
I'd go with Forest Hills Gardens or possibly Bayside near the water.
