Well, just wondering what you peeps think about this. Me personally, as a former dog owner, I agree that dogs have souls of their own. Who could argue that the affection and companionship they provide for people doesn't show that they have souls?
But proving this to a court is another matter I guess..

As a former dog owner myself, I agree with you. But one look at that article tells you immediately what's behind that lawsuit. It's not that she needs to prove whether or not dogs have souls--it's because she doesn't want to pay all those vet bills! And for that reason, she doesn't deserve her day in court.
