Hi -- Does anyone happen to know if there are LOCKERS at the Javits for attendees to securely leave luggage, briefcases, etc. while attending a trade show? I know there are probably coat checks but probably not very secure for valuables. Thanks.

It doesn't really sound like it.

No they do not. They may have a bag check set up for events, but no lockers of any kind. Sorry.

Public lockers pretty much disappeared with the advent of suitcase bombings....especially in places where there are large public gatherings.Javitz would be way too tempting.

I remember Penn Station storage but that was a LONG time ago.

I know when I went there for Comicon last October, the coat/bag check area seemed pretty secure.

Thanks, everyone, this is helpful. I have two events coming up in the next few months. I know I'm going to be collecting a lot of handouts and samples. I thought maybe I'd take a small rolling piece of luggage and check it, and then periodically go back to it to stow what I collect so I don't have to schlep it all day. I'll ask at the coat check if I can do the same there instead.

Thanks!! This site always comes through when you have a question!!

That's exactly what people did at Comicon! Enjoy!

Sorry, another Javits question: Does anyone know what bus to take from the NY Waterway Ferry (from NJ) to get to the Javits?

I think it's only a block from there...no need for a bus.
