Hi I'm new here and was wondering what neighborhood (Bushwick or Williamsburg) the Bushwick Ave Montrose Ave intersection is in. Thanks in advance to all who answer.
What he means is it's midway between Williamsburg and Bushwick, I would consider it on the border. (the joke made was the area is full of midwesterners, so saying it's Williamsburg or Bushwick is a joke)
Real estate agents liked to call it "East Williamsburg" when technically for years no such neighborhood existed, it was just a way to get transplants to move into Bushwick.
If you're just wondering what do you tell friends, you could get away with saying it's East Williamsburg, but it really is on the border between the 2 areas.
