Firstly, can I say thanks to everyone who posted on my original thread, your advice/comments we're invaluable and we managed to find a great apartment in TriBeCa.
I have a few (more) questions, if you can answer them:
* I really want to study over here, if I can, I hold a degree in Business & Accounting from the UK, but I figure I can make a sort of career change whilst I'm over here and start again. Where would be the best place to study? I'm would love to study social sciences (Criminology, Sociology) or perhaps Psychology.
*My Fiance has been told he will be expected to stay in the USA for 3 years and then will probably be granted a GC, so by the end of this 3 year period I hope to either have a degree and be using it OR be in full-time work so I will then be able to apply for mine - does this sound feasible?
*As I said, I hold a degree in Accounting and would like to perhaps start doing accounting freelance so I can make some money and also work alongside studying. Obviously alot of this is word of mouth and networking, where do I start? Is there much demand for FL Accountants? Or would I be better off trying to get a FT/PT Job within a company?
