Who wants to snatch a gold chain off of necks anymore? I spoke to one jewish guy who owned a shop in midwood aswell as a pakistani, both men said they will pay me if I find an iphone and trade it in with them for cash. Iphones are worth 200 dollars if taken to a pawnshop. Many mac products have a high resale value. Even the aging 3gs might be worth somewhere on between 50 to a 100 bucks.
How about a mother leaving her baby in the arms of 2 strangers? TRUE STORY. Was at a restaurant one day for lunch. I see 3 women sitting together in the waiting area waiting for their buzzer to go off for their tables. I'm thinking they are mother of the baby, her mother and her grandmother. Nope. Those 2 older women did not know that other woman. This lady hands her baby over and asks them to watch him so she could run out to the car for something. I don't know what it was, nor do I care. That baby would be in the stroller and we're BOTH going to the car. I'm sorry, just because these are 2 older women, how does that alone make them trustworthy?
Honestly, though, were I a scumbag, I'd have little trouble figuring out how to sell a hot I-phone, but no idea how to go about selling a baby. It's not nearly as easy as it looks on paper.

Who hates them? Not me. Hipsters and yuppies are the fastest crime targets in the city. Who's going to get robbed more likely Tony with a goatee or Noah with a beard? In Brooklyn I'm the gentry areas Hipsters and yuppies are always victimized for idevices and other Mac crap. Call me when any Microsoft device besides an xbox that has a high resale value.

Very high concentrations of theft in these areas for sure. Dense population with many targets in one area make sense they get hit a lot.
I have my SAMSUNG phone from 2006 nobody wants it.

This is exactly why I do not own crazy expensive gadgets. I have my parents old 1992 TV in my apartment and a crappy old PC that I had 10 years ago in college. If someone wants to rob my apartment, I think they would get here abd just be incredibly disappointed. No one wants my old pieces of crap lol.
