I will be flying up to NYC in June, and I have a friend who lives at the Townsway Apartments from what I understand is at Lexington Avenue and 3rd Street in Manhattan. I am just wondering if any of you know of any reasonably priced hotel near the Townsway Apartments or near Lexington Avenue and 3rd Street.

Thank you.

Lexington Avenue ends at Gramercy Park, around 22nd street. A quick google search tells me that the Townsway Apartments are actually at 27th and Lexington. This is Kips Bay, midtown east. Anything in the midtown area will be convenient for you.

Thanks for the tip. I also went ahead and emailed someone with www.alginny.com which is the Algin Management that owns and manages Townsway Apartment to see if they could suggest a reasonably priced hotel for me. Again thanks for your help.

Just use Kayak or Travelocity - I would not expect an apartment's management to do any legwork for your trip.

The Ramada Eastside at 30th & Lexington is reasonable by Manhattan standards.

a hotel alternative I always suggest is AirBnB.com, I have used it before in NYC and really enjoyed it.
