That section of the Bronx isn't that white. There's a decent amount of Hispanics [Puerto Ricans] there. I doubt blacks or hispanics are in danger of being in that area, especially since this is The Bronx we're talking about.
Unless you ment to say "Its a safe section of The Bronx for white people" then I agree with you.
E. Tremont is a major strip, from Westchester Square all the way to the bridges (Whitestone and Throggs Neck). Yes, it is a safe area, and getting more diverse as the years go on. Two minor issues to deal with are the pollution from the Bruckner, and the noise coming from the bar and club scene on E. Tremont.
The bar and club scene in Throggs Neck is minuscule and not worth mentioning. It is a handful of places clustered on a couple blocks...that's about it.

Not really, nearly every single corner of Tremont in TN has a bar on it.
Thats not true at all..nearly every single corner DOES NOT have a bar on it. It is the great exception, not the rule.
I've lived in TN for 35 years. Take a walk up Tremont starting near Marina Del Ray and up, nearly every street has at least one bar. There's a few blocks without corner bars, but many in the middle of the block.
Example: You have Bridges, Tosca, and the Wicked Wolf all less than half a block from each other.
I've walked that street more times than I will ever admit to. And yes..the Bridges/Tosca/Wicked Wolf cluster is the only area with bars!! The rest are scattered and the exception, not the rule. There are very few bars in Throgs Neck whether you want to believe it or not. There are restaurants with bars inside (Like Toscas), but not BARS.

True also most of its patrons are locals from the area.
I went to 718 lounge a few years ago....but it was filled with the guidos/guidettes and their fans...needless to say the crowd was not for me. It was a nice place though.
