If they are doing this in a lottery manner then that's extremely screwed up! No wonder why I had people telling me that this was their 3rd, 4th or 5th orientation. With all the schools throughout the 5 boroughs, school saftey should conduct day an night academy sessions like NYPD. I don't have a dirty background and never even been questioned or detained by police so I'm wondering why is it taking so long.

we're both in the same boat. Never even had a ticket and ive been to 4 orientations already smh

What do you mean by orientations? Mini medicals?

They call you to 1pp for an orientation and they review your paperwork and documents as well as give you an interview. The last orientation I went to was on January, 31st and I filled out W4's and signed a sheet saying I'm aware of grooming standards while in the academy.

orientation as in going to 1pp and making the long line with every candidate

Not by lottery it depends on how long your instigator takes to finalize all of your paperwork
