I just found out that the FABULOUS Broadway musical Priscilla, Queen of the Desert will be closing on 6/24!

Very sad about this! I've seen it twice and it truly is the MOST FUN i have EVER had a Broadway show!!!

I know I plan on going at least once more before it ends!

I anyone hasn't seen it or also want to go again, here's a great discount I found:

[mod]Links are not allowed for new members, which is why they do not appear in usable form, per Terms of Service[/mod]

Go! Use the discount! You'll have a BLAST!!!

You can thank me later!
:-)

Actually I heard the show was really bad, so of course it is closing. The very few people I know who saw the play said it was a total waste of time and money. Just so you know, hit broadway shows don't close this quickly. The show stinks.

The Australian version in Sydney(Original) was amazing however it caters for an Australian audience. I heard it was dramatically changed to cater for Broadway
There is a movie and its very funny however you need to understand Aussie humour to "get it".

some things need to be left in their original format. Still sad for the all involved as they are out of work now.

Partner saw (on Broadway) it and said it was just plug AWFUL.

Of course, the movie was a true delight.

I saw the show twice as well and enjoyed it. However, all shows eventually close (except for Phantom apparently).

A Broadway show is closing? Who would've imagined such a thing would happen...and in my own lifetime, yet!
