Let's relax now, I think Bloomberg (the person) has actually been pretty fair and not abused that privilege.

Bloomberg (the company) is dominant in financial media (33% market share in this area), and it doesn't control all media.
So if he's manipulating anything it might be Economic figures. I would actually give more credence to that.

NYC is a big city and will always have crime in certain areas. That's the sad fact. Any city with the metro and city population of this one is going to have crime-ridden areas. That's human nature. Sad, but true.
