Exactly right. Charge an entrance fee of $10-$20 which may be enough money to deter ghetto people from coming to the pool and causing drama and acting like they "run" the facility.

Cause we all know the ghetto mentality of "we run this block" mindset that ghetto people subscribe to. It's no different. I wouldn't be surprised if these ghetto people go to this pool and try to "take over" because they're with a crew having a "good time".

Uh, do you really think thugs vote? Perhaps a few but I think most of them have other concerns! For one thing convicted felons cannot vote. (Not to say that thug automatically = felon but in the Venn diagram of these two groups I think it's safe to say they probably overlap more than, for example, Upper East side housewives and felons.)

So.. your solution is chopping off the arm to cure a small cut on your hand? Not all the poor people
are acting ghetto, It's just small group of trouble makers. $10-$20 entrance fee basically deter most
of the decent poor kids in the neighborhood from using the pool as well.

Maybe they can setup some kind of ID for using the pool, once a person breaks the rule, they are
permanently ban from ever using the pool again. That will clean up their act in no time if they
still want to hang out there.

charging 10-15$ seems like a good idea. Many people who live within the area, both neighborhoods, who I spoken too agree with this.

There's something else amiss at McCarren.
I couldn't find a Betsy Kay pool in Brownsville, but there is a Betsy Head Pool there.

I would NEVER go there after this popped up in my search. (Not that I would travel all the way to a bad area of Brooklyn to go swimming anyway...but still.)
