Maybe those other city pools are better policed. They'll all certainly be much SMALLER and thus easier to supervise. Maybe there are similar incidents occuring at those pools that simply aren't being adecuately reported?

I'm just trying to play devil's advocate here.

YES. And those intelligent enough, with very few exceptions, DON'T DO IT.

Talk about denying personal responsibility...

But its clear that you exaggerate when you claim that the majority of Harlemits condone gun trafficking when its they who are getting shot. How often does some white yuppie get shot? Few because the hooligans know that this is will be when the cops stop turning a blind eye to their gun trafficking, which you claim that they have details on, yet allow such to continue.
You need to read A LOT more carefully, or you have difficulty comprehending what you read.

It's more that no one apart from locals really goes to those local pools. This is Williamsburg, aka the nexus of hipsters, Eastern Brooklyn, some Manhattan, and basically everything else. Good thing I stay away (well, apart from Miranda, the only good thing about that neighborhood). I'm surprised people expected good behavior at a public pool honestly.

You'll likely see 3-5 hipsters or yuppies collectively, 2-3 families, and 300 hoodlums at this pool. It's cemented... smh lol

The thing is hood people like to have a "good time" and socialize. A good time for some reason requires them to be loud and unruly. Their way of having a good time is in a super liberal way. Instead of having a good time in a more orderly, civilized manner.

This place is literally right next to Greenpoint too. It's not as if this pool is just servicing Williamsburg and the other nearby areas that aren't as pleasant.

Let children in for free and charge a nominal fee for adults. This would be legal. Anything free is seen as an entitlement to abuse and draws the wrong element.

That being said, for political reasons it will never happen....

And you did a good job of playing it. Maybe the other pools are better policed? Maybe just because McCarren pool is so big?
