Different thread than the usual, 'worst nabes', 'is this nabe safe', 'crime stats' ect ect

For those native born or transplants who been here long enough and are curious, which areas of the City of New York you rarely visit or even never stepped foot in ? There are plenty of neighborhoods and areas then compose NYC.

I NEVER been to CITY ISLAND (or even close enough to view it).. Holy kaka...

I haven't been to Staten Island in a while, I used to go about once a month to visit friends. It has also been a while since I've been to Great Neck, College Point, Riverdale and the Pelham area. I have always wanted to visit Flushing (which is weird because I play tennis near there, and also Howard Beach. I have a couple of friends there but they always come to the city to visit me.

Most of Staten Island. I've been to the South Ferry and the ballpark as well as Wagner College once. We also used to have some family friends on Rolling Hills something near Arden Avenue back in the 1980s.

Staten Island rarely, some PARTS of Staten Island never. Come to think of it, I don't think I ever stepped foot or in the west BX, that being Riverdale, Spuyten Duyvil and Fieldston.
