The rats are evloving big time. Once I saw a rat about 4"11' wearing a full Karate Gi just hanging out waitng for a train talking to his friends. He seemed like as cool guy. To tell you the truth this all seemed fairly normal for a friday night in the village, what really bugged me out where his friends. They were these giant talking turtles all dressed like Ninjas. I think they were teenagers.

I think certain parts are based on actual facts, but most of it was exaggerated.

I saw a video on youtube where a rat had got on the subway and people were screaming as the animal was running under seats and terrorizing the crowd by its actual size. Rats aren't afraid of people and will actually chase if it feels threatened, unlike a timid mouse.

I've seen that video. You would think the way people were screaming & yelling that Colin Ferguson had just been paroled & was taking the train back to Long Island.

I recall my brother telling me a story of his friend back in the 1980's when he lived on Pitkin Ave had to defend himself with a bat standing on the bed against big rats who invaded his dwelling area.

False. I hate when people say that and put their hands up to show the size of the rat. That's such BS. I've never, ever seen a rat anywhere in NYC that was any bigger than a typical white rat that you can buy in a pet store.

I saw a rat just scuttling around the platform over at Kingston-Throop in Brooklyn last night. I was really amazed.
