Btw, WHAT is a "hamlet"???

I've heard of 'Omlet', but not "hamlet"?

Is the Omlet you heard of similar to the omelet we sometimes eat?

Perhaps a Hamlet is a Ham Omelet?

I was wondering about the whole hamlet thing myself but back to the topic at hand. I have a couch but I don't think it can actually be completely crushed by a human since it has a very sturdy steel frame, I don't see it being much use in surfing either. However, since I live in Iowa I doubt it would help anyone anyway since they seem to be set on going to New York City. Besides, they would have to share the crushing of the couch with the dog and the cat, gets a wee bit crowded at times.

I have a couch that turns into a bed and I am working from home this month.

However I would need the same credentials as NYC77 stated.

Plus you would have to be ok with my cat who might try to hump your arm. (He's pervy like that).

And if it's a night the BF is crashing over, sorry but no 3 somes. Homey don't play that.

If I were you I would try Priceline. You could possibly land a hotel in one of the boroughs or NJ for cheap.
