Whatever the max is for animal cruelty in NY this guy should get it. Clearly a violent and dangerous psychopath. But he'll probably get off with a slap on the wrist. Maybe a big hug to boost his self esteem.

We really need more laws to protect animals, make it a huge violation to mistreat them so psychopaths will be locked up early and long, before they start killing people. Clear some of the pot smokers out of prisons to make room for them.

Big tough man beats up a little dog. What a twisted piece of crap. Whatever time he gets it won't be enough. Hurt animals and kids you should have to pay the ultimate price. But lets not step on his rights, how much consideration did he give the pup? He should get the very same amount of consideration, none. Did they ever publish a better picture of the sicko or anything about his past? I hope he gets paid back well for what he did.

The city and PETA had offered a combined $7,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perp, and it looks like that may have paid off. A 28-year-old Bronx man named Brian Freeman was arrested today.
Freeman is charged with torturing and injury to an animal. The NYPD press office tells us the dog's status is unknown, but we'll update when we find out more.

28 years old?

I thought it would end up being an out-of-control teenager.

Pushing 30, and that's how he behaves. Pathetic.

I think it's wrong she has to stay in a shelter because the NYPD is conducting an investigation, surely the video & the Vet report along with pictures should be enough. At the very least she should be put in a loving foster home so she doesn't waste the rest of her puppy years in a cage.

This article tells how they found the scum bag, Brian Freeman. His bail is 3500 dollars, he is still in custody. How about we take a collection and have a party for him when he gets out. These kinds of stories bring out the vigilante justice side of me.
