Um no, that's not a pizza. That's practically the same pizza the other guy posted (which looked better btw) dressed up in a half-assed attempt to look like a Margherita. If you're gonna make a margherita, do it right.

Who cares what one person thinks? "Well I'm from Brazil but I'm still objective when I say Brazil has the best"... lol

You get an "F" for failure. Don't don't beat yourself up over it, it's normal for tourist to get the whole NYC pizza thing wrong...

lol @ tourist. are you aware I'm from Sao Paulo, SP? Did you know Sao Paulo Metro has almost 20 million people?
Did you know that almost 40% of the population there is Italian? Oh, I forgot, the only place you know is NYC.
Pizza in NYC does not compare to anything in Brazil period. Until you go there and experience it yourself, you have no room to give an opinion.

News flash: did you know the NYC pizza isn't supposed to be "Italian Pizza"? That's why it's "NYC style pizza", or did you miss that part? If you want Italian Pizza, go to Italy or a place that specializes in "Italian Pizza".

Who cares? Where did I say I have an opinion on Brazilian pizza? It's clear you don't know what nyc pizza is or what it's supposed to be, so apparently you don't have an opinion either.
For someone who keeps puffing their chest claiming to be from SP and all tough, you're acting like a wimpy baby crying about everything from the pizza to the trashbags on the street. Grow up, no one cares. And for the record, eating a pizza with a fork and knife here is a faux pas and might get you dragged out onto the street and shot. If you can't fold it and eat it, it's not NYC style pizza.

DiFara, Totonnos, Carmines, Sal & Carmine, Lombardis, among many others and I don't know what the hype is about. The cheese doesn't even have taste! The crusts are too hard, etc. Clearly, anyone who says New York has the one of the best pizzas hasn't been to Brazil.
I $hit you not, pizzas in Brazil are at a whole nother level. I'm not just saying this because I'm from there but you guys just have to see it for yourself. Seriously, when you go to Brazil (if you ever), ask around about the best place to get a pizza. Your mind will be blown.
Pizzas in Brazil you eat with a knife and fork because you simply cannot hold a slice.

I've always done an eyeroll when NYC (as if it could speak ha) says it has local food. IMO, it really doesn't, so the notion that it does is given a concocted identity as tourist fodder. people will say xyz to make a buck. I'm a long term New Yorker since age 3. Just my opinion
