Police can be very smart about how they handle their business, but their lack of shared perspective with the people whom they often find themselves enforcing laws against make them seem dumb. Case in point: the FBI listed the Juggalos of Insane Clown Posse infamy as a gang that they are monitoring.

Bloods, Crips, Latin Kings, DDP, Trini's are the big gangs in NYC, a lot of those gangs listed are set's, many would be considered Bloods, and lesser extent crips. Factions of the big gang, but not closely organized at all.

For the past twenty-five years I have been working with at risk teens in the Mott haven section of the South Bronx. it is a serious situation that is getting progressively worse. They have to stop closing recreation centers, after school programs and libraries and building more jails. This sends the wrong impression to this forgotten community.
