I applied for nycha in 2012 on n4 priority.. i have 4 kids.. i had to go to a shelter in 2013, was there for a little over a year my priority changed to N0.. moved out of the shelter through feps, my priority changed back to N4... and im still waiting! Shelters do not get priority! I met a few women in the shelter that have been waiting for years.
I I applied not too long ago because im almost 7 months pregnant and I need and safe and secure place for my unborn babygirl, my priority is n4 but i would like to know, do they know that Im expecting ?..... I cant figure it out because i never answer a question like that....
Hi, I am currently living in a over crowded NYCHA Apartment (fiance's mother's apartment). 3 bedroom, 9 people total. My fiance, our 2 kids and I share a bedroom. My children and I aren't on the lease. I applied for NYCHA on 4/24/2015 (when I found out I was pregnant with baby #2), renewed 2/22/2017. I am N4, W3 (Fiance works and I stay home with the children ages 6 and 1). Still on the prelim. wait list. Hoping I hear something soon. Feeling a little discouraged.
i have applied to new york city housing back in 2003 and i was called for my interview already and recieved a list of developments and the list they send me already has people waiting more than 3+so that means i would have to wait more than 3+ years after waiting since 2003 for an interview that will make exactly 14 years i have been waiting already and i am also N4 priority. this makes no sence unheard of for so many years. and i have children as well. wtf is a N4 priority anyways?
this is insane and how come they dont help people that need help instead of helping those that need help and are single parents. explain to me someone ?????
how can i request for a new list with out being taking off completely from housing and having to start my application all over for new york housing ?? cause this doesn't make any sence
I'm a N4 status and I want to know when I'll be able to select a development
