Nobody is stopping anyone from drinking 800 liters of soda...you can still do that..you just have to buy it in smaller sizes. What is the big deal exactly? Why can't we buy an 800 liter soda now! They can't tell me what to do...it's freedom! Well..the soda companies were the ones dictating size all along...why do you think it was your freedom or decision? It never was...so now the city is taking control, in YOUR best interest instead of what's best for the soda industry....and people complain..because..well..thats what people do.
Don't listen to all the hype about freedom this..freedom that..soon they will be making you wear a seatbelt in a car, and force you to be 21 to buy alcohol, and wear clothes in public places....don't take away my freedoms...oh wait...we already live that way....

The LAST entity I trust to "do what's right for me" is the government. I expect the G'vt to **** off, that's what.

It's going to be fun watching the soda police try and enforce this. Does Rikers & the tombs have space for violators? I can hear it now "what are you in here for?" ans "I drank a 32oz soda"...
personally, I cant imagine drinking that much soda in a clip anyway.
I love big sugary drinks in the middle of a long bike ride. Feels great, prevents bonking. Usually get 24 oz size ones, sometimes you can get a cold iced tea can for 99¢. Went through 4-5 of them on a hot day a few times. Couldn't imagine what I'd do without them.
In Canada they're harder to find. Nationalists go on about why America is #1, but they ignore the one of the more important reasons: cheap sugary drinks!
Indiana also welcomes New Yorkers too
one of the top 10 states in the US for Freedoms.
Plus our taxes are low and our cost of living is low.
heck cost of living in Indianapolis is 50% that of New York City. Housing values are 80% lower too.
has anyone seen the shape of many of the folks who drink diet sodas and a double whopper and large fries?
im sure its not the diet soda that has them obese .
