Where in the Bronx do you live? This may be true for your neighborhood (but I doubt it). Why stereotype the whole borough? You make it sound like the Bronx is full of animals, a characterization that many outside of the borough already have.

Glad you had a good time. Maybe next time go to the Botanical Gardens/little Italy. Definately worth a visit as well.

Sounds delightful!

In case you're up in the Bronx again, there's also City Island with expanses that are a bit like a New England fishing town as well as the Fordham University campus and its environs (also next to the previously recommended Botanical Garden, Zoo, and Little Italy).

Arrow Bronx walk

Hi Mister I've been living in the bronx for most of my life Vic Future gave some good ideas. IF I was touring you through the Bronx after leaving Yankee Stadium area I would have you walk over to (University and about 174 Street ) (Macombs dam bridge) area bridge and into Spanish Harlem. There,s a great park over there and some shopping. You might see "papi" from the corner store to give you a quick salsa lesson in the street. Loud msic coming from the store as people walk by minding their own business.

The time the of the year s another important factor. So, when are you planning to travel. Enjoy.
