What's to like? There's nothing there but a DQ. I'm from TX and that's the blandest thing I've ever seen.
And what do you mean what more would anyone need? How about some life, vibrancy, culture, arts, or a population more than 100. I'm not trying to insult your town, but from what you say your town has, I just don't get how you don't think there's more to life and you don't even have to like NYC.
Either way, I though the same thing about NYC from pics before I actually went there. You get it when you get there. It's unlike any place on earth. God I can't wait to leave TX!
Well being you brought it up, it's true, I've never been to NYC but I have visited other big cities around the country before, one thing I've come to see about big cities is the people there, you walk down the street and look at someone and speak to them they all act like you didn't even say nothing, and keep walking, people act their scared to be friendly to each other, that isn't no way to be, everyone in big cities lock their doors, and lock up their cars like their afraid someone is going to steal something from them, I don't get that, I don't know if ya'll have any crime in NYC or not, as I said I never been there, but we don't lock anything in Kamay Texas, there's no need to, and as far as culture, and arts, I'm not sure of the kind of art your talking about, but there is nothing more pretty in the world than a west Texas sunset on a clear morning, and as far as culture goes, you will never walk down the street in Kamay and say good morning to someone and have them ignore you, you will never meet anyone so friendly in your life than some of the people here.
When I said "what more could anyone need" what I was talking about is there is work, food, a great school for the young uns and a nice warm place to lay your head, there really is nothing more you or anyone else could ever need more than that.
If you want to call that "bland" call it what you want to, I call it Home.
I have lived here for over a year, and I thank God every day that I have the privilege of being able to live here, in Midtown. However, I would prefer to live in a more residential location, such as SoHo, West Village or something like that. But either way, amazing pics!
