"New York City Public Schools officials say school days lost due to Sandy will be made up Feb. 20-22 and June 4. The February days were supposed to be mid-winter break while June 4 was supposed to be a clerical half-day."
Boardwalk around my way is still gone in spots. Most people living around my way who have basements, I don't even think they fixed them yet. Even in my complex, a ramp collapsed from Sandy and it hasn't been fixed yet. A lot of the first floor apartments in Arverne-By-The-Sea apartment buildings are on sale for cheap.
