yeah there's a serious portion of people not ready despite taking the test in 2007. Another rule of thumb is that a ton of people end up a class behind where their list number should be so others jump up. These people eventually get the job but a class later due to CDLs, background stuff, who forgot their social, who has points on their license, who thought a letter from their mom saying they slept on her couch was valid residency proof...usual stuff
Lol at sleeping on mom's couch... i dknt have those problems except for the cdl .Do you have to have your cdl? If so ill have to work on that.
They do offer CDL training the when they get close to your number...
but if you already have it, you're golden. What if you fail the road test? People who take the training through FBF often take their road test at the 11th hour to get into the class....meaning if they happen to fail, they miss the next class. They then get it on their own, and get into the next class.
I am 89 list numbers away and I got laid off last month, I NEED THIS!!! Got a stash and getting unemployment. I don't want to look for another private industry job. Been screwed the last 20 years by private industry. I just have to be patient. Plus everybody hiring now is only seasonal work.
