that may sound crazy but there was this one guy that showed late to pre orientation and when he did they rolled out the red carpet for him. they took him aside and got all his stuff done first. then when we did the medical on aug 1st it was same thing. after we all sat there making sure we were at least an hour early watching that dam video on how to put on snow chains on the truck tires, he strolls in late. I mean come on it was like 20 minutes late and after all the drilling into our heads that lateness is one of the worst infractions in sanitation. then some guy in a suit calls him in behind those bank teller windows and he was yuking it up with all the supervisors back there drinking coffee. so after we get called up to do that questionnaire and then go wait to do the pee test, the guy in the suit brings him, talks to the guys doing the testing and he cuts the line and goes right in. that's when I heard he was some golden child of somebody big. for the rest of the day he was always one step ahead of us running around city doing the hearing test then xrays. I guess it works for me cuz his list has to be close to mine if we were all in the same pre-orientation group. so if they get to his number in i'm pretty sure i'm going with him.

Don't worry about that guy, worry about you. Lateness and awol will kill you on probation. Don't do it. Don't be late, don't go awol, DO NOT GO XWOP. I know damn well they mention not to do it at FBF and I see a bunch of people from the October 2011 class getting probation extended because of XWOPs. (Grantyed it baffles me how they can extend you for something they approved, but I digress) If someone has a hook, or there's nepotism, or whatever...welcome to life. If you get on (I am assuming you're waiting and best of luck) ignore that crap completely.
At least until after probation....then feel free to run him over "accidentally"
