People keep saying that those with their cdl skip over those who don't have that's not all the way true because even if you have your cdl you still have to wait for the class to start, now if you don't have your cdl when the the class starts then yes you will be skipped but they do give you enough time to take the training and get your cdl before the class starts and another thing is they actually prefer you to do the training with them
that's funny, having you CDL means nothing at all during the hiring process,just make sure you have it when you are hired.
Yes it does when they call a few classes back to back and Cdl training is booked solid .. And you need the Cdl and someone 20 list numbers higher then you has Cdl .. Guess what they are not waiting for you to get it... They call the next list # pass med/ Cdl check... Then you'll get are you still intrested in becoming a San worker yes no bada boom... I cut almost 200 list numbers when I got hired because Cdl class was backed up.. Read the old forums .

I went and got it on my own so it was one less thing to worry about. I read on here in the past the stress of people going to the CDL training and then failing and having to get it on their own. I wanted one less thing to worry about and this August makes 5 years since I had it. Wow didn't think they would stretch the list this long.
yes until further notice. Probably holding out hope of a class so they can process the transfers then. Otherwise they have to process transfers once a year but without a new class it'll be a horrid transfer lol
Have any of u guys waiting called hr to see what they say about classes or this list expiring?
