If you scored a 100 and passed everything else, you'd be on the job already if you had gotten the CDL on your own.

Sucks that it's happened that way but at 700ish away you should still be optimistic with the 2 classes that are rumored.

Everyone else, let this be a lesson, get your license on your own and reapply for the test. Goodluck.

No the 100 score wasn't good enough this time. The last class I believe were still the 101.25 scores. And the next test filing will be june, according to the union

Yeah, it's kind of the worst luck of the draw for more than a few people who scored 100%. Me being one of them. 2,497 candidates scored 101.25 or better. The list reached up to 2,649 so they only reached out to 152 people who scored 100% out of the 1,300 who scored 100%. Even if you got your CDL on your own, you still had to wait for your list # to be called. With the new wave of hires which should move the list # up to roughly around 3,249 or somewhere in that ballpark. At 3,36X, it serves me, a few before me, & about 600 people behind me no luck this go around. Rule of thumb, you have to score 101.25% or better just to have a peace of mind. They did reach out up to #3,445 for Pre Orientation/Medical last year I believe. But as you can see, it was all covering possible ground but nothing guaranteed which is understandable. Theres alot of things I don't understand but I guess its not may place to try to make sense. I hear that they are short staffed & with the Promotions, Retirees, Terminations, etc, etc. I figured that the hiring process would have been a little more aggressive. Guess not. All well, back the the drawing board.

I scored 100, passed everything the first time, and got my license on my own in Aug of 2008. I'm 89 numbers away and still didn't get called. I don't understand what's going on I should be in the next class. .

Did the Rep say why they would wait till sept? I like the idea of 2 classes its just everywhere else we're hearing July/August. Not that any rumor is more reliable than the next.

Because there's no reason to pay you for July and August when they really don't need you until November to February if they don't need to. In 2010 they threw one in December and it proved to be too late so in 2011 they put them in for September and October then last minute they agreed to a November class. They started in July last year but they had 4 classes to make it through.
