Coming into town for work tomorrow and spending the night. Wednesday is a travel day so I am having a friend come down to visit.

I'm looking for a good place to go out tomorrow night. Something with drink specials would be great, but someplace active (with a band maybe) is more important. It'll be a late night, so not necessarily looking for an after work scene. Not looking for something douchey, just an average bar or pub that typically has a decent crowd on Tuesday nights and maybe even cheap drafts or pitchers.

Staying at the Beekman hotel (around 49th and 1st) so something within 10 blocks would be nice. I'm also willing to head to another area if there's nothing there.

Thanks.
