I hate to drive into Manhattan. But today is one of those days. I'll be having a 2hr meeting with some people around that area.
I wouldn't mind street parking if I can find a spot, but with a hospital and a school nearby I assume it won't be easy.
Does anybody know of a relatively cheap parking garage around there?
There are two Icon garages across the street from each other (roughly) on W57th between 9th and 10th. Go to their website and print a coupon as you should be within the time frame for the $15 parking special. The absolute least expensive is going to be a garage on 62nd & West End Avenue in the West End Towers. I have a sibling who looks for the least expensive parking, and they park in that garage when having to go to Lincoln Center, despite the walk. All of these are 24-hour facilities, so you don't have to worry about getting back to your car before closing.

Thanks bmwguydc, I saw a coupon for $15 for one of those. That's actually not bad at all. I thought I was looking at $40+
Cheapest place in that area is The Skylight Hotel at 10th Ave and 49th Street, hands down.
