The Southside is more Manhattan-like than the Northside, but that's not saying much.

$1,500 might get you the crummiest of apartments in Williamsburg, if you're lucky.

You're in for roomates in Manhattan or Williamsburg given your current budget.
You might get a studio for $1,500 but I'm guessing it won't be very nice.

I notice the emphasis on chasing ladies, and while Williamsburg attracts a large crowd of young people, not all of them necessarily live there. You might wanna chose a cheaper, near-by neighborhood instead, and then just hang out in Williamsburg, if that's your thing.

I will say this, and not because I live here. But of all places I've lived in NYC, in my current location is where I happen to see the largest amount of single women. Don't ask me for data on this. It's what I see with my own two eyes, and what I see when I go my and other neighborhoods.

I would choose the part of Williamsburg that is slightly WEST of the East River.

I just want to be around some beautiful women. Would you recommend either of these ? Is there some place better than the 2 streets above? What's best for chick watching and stylish living?
Try Kew Gardens if you really want to live in their habitats. A lot of young adult women live there, especially those who work in the airline industry like stewardesses and pilots. The best places to find them would be the laundromat, the bagel store and Odradeks coffee shop. Sometimes they hang out in Forest Park.

I also suggest Forest Hills but it is more expensive than Kew Gardens. Look also at Hillcrest/Fresh Meadows - the area around St. John's U.

Another place is - ironically - the suburbs. Many young kids are returning home after graduating from college and living longer with their parents. They commute to the city via MNR or LIRR.

But before you develop such ambitious expectations, ask yourself first what is it you have to offer to them. What do you have that will make them attracted to you?

Thanks for your response Sir. I don't just intend to move to the location like some idiot and try to get their number . Trust me .It'll be a classy and honest operation. By the way, I looked up Kew Gardens. That's far far away from manhattan or williamsburg. I am not looking anywhere except Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
