Just a quick question:

I am going to be moving close by the Mt. Vernon station and will be traveling to the Botanitcal Garden stop. On the MTA website, for a monthly pass, it says it is about $60. Does the monthly pass include round trip or will that be ANOTHER $60 as well to get home?

Thank you.

But is that only one way or are round trips included, too? I need to know for my job. Thank you.

Round trip. You just show your pass, there's no coupon to punch or anything like that unlike a 10-trip ticket.

Only Mount Vernon West goes to the Gardens , Mount Vernon East does not stop at the Gardens and you'll have to go to Fordham and then back up...adds about 10mins to the Journey.

I think it would easily be more than 10 minutes, considering the waiting time.

Also keep in mind that not every train the serves Mount Vernon West also serves the Botanical Gardens. Some go straight to Fordham, or even straight to Harlem.
