The information sheet didn't seem to specify which size units and income requirements were related to which address. I'm unfamiliar with the FAC Advance and Third Party Transfer program and investigation via Google Maps seemed to show they were small, older buildings. Anyone have any insight into the program or process post-application?
I fit the income guidelines for 1 person for the 1 bedrooms so I applied for the heck of it even though there's probably no chance of my hitting the lottery (when there's only six 1 bed apartments and one has no preferences then it truly is like winning the lottery!). I wouldn't pin much on this - on the off chance you do get lucky then it will be a pleasant surprise...
FAC btw is the Fifth Avenue Committee, a community organization focusing on equitable community development and maintaining diversity in the face of gentrification in that part of Brooklyn.
The log #'s are posted - I am 5,424 and with no preferences and only six 1 beds that means I have no chance...back to waiting (with a much better number) for them to call me for Masaryk Towers.
Sounds like you have a great chance! At least as far as getting an interview. I thought my number was way out of the realm of possibility (and still do) but I was just reading The Stack thread here and someone mentioned getting an interview with log #10,000, and that one only has six apartments available. So, who knows.
I just went on the FAC website amd it saids the 8 affordable apartments has been leased already. Lol has anyone applied for the lindsay park housing in williamsburg?

That is a different eight apartments - The Addison on Schermerhorn Street, not the ones we applied for.
I would've put in for Lindsay Park but the minimum occupancy on their one bedrooms are 2 people, so I couldn't.
I did apply. My log# 5772, but I don't think i will even be contacted since my income is bit over.
