Spent a few weeks in Korea earlier this yr and their subway system is awesome with protective covering and wifi in most stations and subways.

Man, 61, killed by Bronx D train in front of wife - NY Daily News

Cops are searching for the man who pushed Kwok in front of a southbound D train as it pulled into the station, the source said. The men didn’t know each other, police said.

The train’s motorman saw Kwok just before hitting him, but he could not stop the train in time, a transit source said.

Sounds like another thrill killer is on the loose.

Not that I'm blaming the victim but it's incredible to me how many people are so careless when a train arrives in the station.

I get what you're saying, but it's much more dangerous to be a pedestrian on the street and walk in the path of a moving car when the cars have the right of way. Yet thousands or maybe tens of thousands of people are doing that every single day in NYC. When I drive in Manhattan (as a passenger) this happens at almost every intersection.

At least in the subway, there is only a minuscule chance of being attacked by a murderer, whereas there's a fairly large chance the cars who have the right of way are not going to stop for your jaywalking.

Watching NY1 news right now. They got the POS on surveillance camera. He's either black or hispanic.

Doubt this is a race thing. It's about drugged up, mentally unstable homeless people all over the city. You can always be alert, but tough to fully protect yourself against such creatures.

Really? I wouldn't doubt it at all. Real ghetto people hate, hate, hate the Chinese.

This is so sad. This Chinese couple have probably (had enough guts) lived in the ghetto for years, without safety problem, but met such a violent tragedy when heading to Manhattan. Criminals like such should be severely punished.

The video at NY Post shows the attacker pretty clearly. Shouldn't be long before he's identified and arrested.
