What are you implying with that link? That I am racist? Where am I racist? I say Ghetto People. Unless you think Ghetto people= a Race of people. Is that what you are doing? Well then you are the racist for lumping a Race with Ghetto People. I hate all Ghetto people no matter the color of their skin. I am half Puerto Rican/Ecuadorian if you need to know. And Yes I hate Ghetto Puerto Ricans or Ecuadorians too.

I didn't care what race or ethnicity you were.

What would be YOUR "method" of getting rid of them?

I am not talking about good hard working 'poor' people. Immigrants are poor and so are other Americans, but they don't act Ghetto and don't need to. I have seen poor hard working people in Ecuador a lot and in other South Americans Countries and even in Africa (Uganda, Kenya) and they don't act Ghetto. People like to act Ghetto, wear baggy clothes, have smart phones, nice ADIDAS shoes, even own cars that you see park in Housing Projects, there is way too many of them I see in the city. And they also suck money out of Tax payers for services. And NYC has too many Ghetto people.
Hipsters are people who either like, or more often pretend to like something that is counter culture, and assume things like arts & crafts, and craft beers are things no one has ever heard of but themselves.
I thought hipsters drank PBR to make a statement, cause craft beers are too yuppie.
I think thats a perfect example of the meaninglessness of the word hipster. Its sometimes used to mean an artistic rebellion against yuppie culture, but its used by more traditional or working class people to REFER to yuppie culture. People who are too distant from these things to see that many yuppies are consumers of (non traditional) art, for example, and are also participants in what used to be the counterculture.

Are you equating ghetto with low-income?
If that's the case, let me tell you that I know low-income people who are not ghetto.
I think the way the word 'ghetto' being used in this context is pertaining to some certain characteristics embraced by a segment of the population.
Being obnoxiously loud, blasting music out of their apartment windows or cars, smoking blunts in the hallways of buildings, loitering, wearing gold tooth, objetifiying women, having little to no value for education and so on are some of the many traits found in the ghetto culture, and are not necessarily related to race or income level.

The funny thing is that you can pretty much say the same thing for what are considered hipsters. Just replace the gold teeth with purple jeggings and take away the no education thing. And I guess the women actually objectify those betas for the most part haha...

I'm not getting into a debate about who is or isn't ghetto.

the new young urban white generation
that is into their own exclusive lifestyle.
I was once
Young
White
and Urban
and I liked
wine and cheese parties and
playing Trivial Pursuit
but never thought of it
as exclusive
and we were called
yuppies
our likes were not
ironic.
Our preferred urban nabes were
Victorian
and our preferred modern art
was serious
Its not hard to imagine
that our children
had to rebel
but could not do so by
buying station wagons and drinking scotch
(though this vodka thing is halfway there)
that they again became urban meant that
they had to avoid victorian splendor for
something gritty, even ugly
hence
Bushwick
