Aussies who have moved to NYC... (Murray: 2014, live in, moving to)

I am wondering if there are many Aussies reading this forum ~ who have moved to NYC from Sydney in recent years?

I haven't moved to NYC but am currently putting things in place to make this move in April 2014. I have a few friends who have made the Sydney-NYC move and currently live in Murray Hill. Also, there's an Aussie Bar, 'The Sunburnt Cow' on Ave C, if in need of an Australian fix this is where I head, there are a few Aussie's who work here who might be able to help you out. In my perfect world I'd live in Sydney October-March, and in NYC April-September.

There is, in fact, an Aussie ex-part Meetup group. But as long as you're here, why don't you instead try to meet more Americans?

I'm in Sydney and moving to NYC. My query has nothing to do with meeting Aussies or Americans.
