I live in a building that is a stand alone 4stories has apts on one half room for rent on the other half i just figured that i pay more than half of monthly income for a room im sure that my land lord has controled apts and accepts rent assistance for other tenants how to i no if im paying too much what can i do about it.
Why are there so many of these posts lately? If you are only renting a room you pay what you pay. There is no lease. There is no obligation for the landlord to rent it to you for half of what he pays for in rent as in a normal share situation. He advertised a price, you went for it. That's that. What he pays is irrelevant. If you think you pay more than a typical room in your neighborhood goes for, then move.
I agree with everyone your question is poorly executed but most of us get the gist. How much are you paying.
