hi,
my DH and i live in williamsburg and are trying to have a baby. the only problem is my daycare (mom) lives in Little Neck, Queens. would it be crazy for me to drive my baby to my mom's house around 7 am and then take the LIRR to work in manhattan? i would then take the LIRR back to Little Neck and drive back to Bklyn at the end of the day (7ish). just wondering if you think there is traffic going east in the mornng and west at night.
thanks!
carmelisa

Wow, what a commute you got there. Eastbound traffic should be better. I assume your going to take the BQE to the LIE. If so, there would probably be some traffic near Maspeth with drivers heading to the Queens-Midtown Tunnel and near the Van Wyck.

Heading back home should be the same.
